The Executive Committee and Board have agreed that planning for the 6th EuroQol Academy Meeting (13-16 March 2022) should be undertaken in the hope and expectation that it can be held in-person. It will be the first face-to-face meeting of the EuroQol membership in two years. The venue we have secured for the Academy Meeting is the Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. All EuroQol members, as well as research collaborators with accepted papers, will be invited to attend.
The main objectives of the Academy Meeting are to provide open educational sessions to EuroQol members relating to the Group’s ongoing research agenda, to encourage involvement in research activities, and to offer networking occasions. The annual EuroQol Academy Meeting features selected research, which is aligned with the topics that are outlined in the EuroQol Academy Meeting program.
Over the coming months we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation carefully and will follow all local rules and regulations to help ensure the safety of participants. We appreciate that given the continued fluid nature of the pandemic, we will need to keep arrangements for the Academy Meeting under review and will develop contingency plans that can be put in place as needed.
We will provide further updates over the coming months as planning for the Academy Meeting evolves.
