Dutch EQ-5D-5L article is the third most downloaded paper in Value in Health 2016

High levels of interest in the EQ-5D-5L are demonstrated by the article by Versteegh et al (2016), who established the Dutch tariff for the EQ-5D-5L , being third in the list of most popular downloads in Value in Health 2016.

The study makes use of the EuroQol Group’s standard valuation protocol EQ-VT, which facilitates consistent data collection and increases the likelihood that any variations in EQ-5D-5L value sets between countries/regions reflect true differences in population preferences, rather than heterogeneity in data collection methods. The use of the EQ-5D-5L and the Dutch tariff presented in the article, form an integral part of the reference case for cost-effectiveness analysis when applying for reimbursement for healthcare interventions in The Netherlands.
