Elly Stolk appointed as Professor of Measurement and Valuation of Health at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management

We are pleased to announce that Elly Stolk has been appointed as Professor of Measurement and Valuation of Health at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM), Erasmus University, Rotterdam. This is a part-time (one day/week) position where Elly will develop and strengthen research and teaching programmes and supervise graduate students on health measurement and valuation.

EuroQol and ESHPM have a long-standing relationship. Researchers from ESHPM were among the founding members of EuroQol, and several ESHPM researchers are EuroQol members. Elly started her academic career in 1998 at ESHPM, where she obtained her PhD in 2005, was assistant professor from 2008 to 2016 and has co-directed the Erasmus Choice Modelling Centre since 2014.

This professorship was established at ESHPM with the support from EuroQol to strengthen the existing collaborations, coordinate the expertise areas and research interests of ESHPM and EuroQol, and further develop ESHPM activities around measurement and valuation of health.

In her role as Scientific Director for the EuroQol Office, she will continue working with the rest of the Office team to advance the scientific research agenda.
