Introduction of the interviewer administered version of the EQ-5D for digital devices: the EQ-5D Digital Interviewer Administration.
The EQ-5D Interviewer Administration is developed for use either in face-to-face or telephone/computer interviews when participants are either unable to read or write, or are unable to be physically present for the interview. The interviewer administrated version is available for the EQ-5D-5L, EQ-5D-3L and EQ-5D-Y.
Previously, the use of the EQ-5D Paper Interviewer Administration was allowed on digital devices because EuroQol did not have a digital interview version available, however as of the 1st of January 2023, the EQ-5D Digital Interviewer Administration must be used in any new studies using digital devices.
