Dr Carlos Wong is a health data scientist specialising in health economic analysis and routine-collected data analysis using electronic health records, with over a decade of experience in these fields. He is currently an Associate Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and Senior Research Director at the Laboratory of Data Discovery for Health (D24H). Prior to joining LSHTM, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong. He has published >300 articles in top-tier journals - including The Lancet, Nature Medicine, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of Hepatology, Diabetes Care, PLOS Medicine, BMC Medicine, Annals of Surgery- as leading or corresponding author. He has been working on the projects related to EQ-5D-Y valuation and validation studies in Hong Kong since 2015.
