John Yfantopoulos is Professor of Health Economics and Head of MBA-Health Management at the University of Athens. He was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the University of West Attika and classified at the 2% Top Economists according to Stanford University List. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Health Economics from the University of York, UK., and collaborated with several universities in Europe and USA. Furthermore, he has been working and advising the European Commission, (Eurostat), the World Health Organization, the International Labor Office, and the World Bank. He has published 39 books, as well as more than 350 articles in international journals and serves as member of the editorial board in several scientific journals
