After completing the Bachelor's degree in Health Communication (Bielefeld University) and the Master's degree in Public Health (Bielefeld University), I have been working as a research assistant in the Department of Health Economics and Health Care Management (AG 5) of the School of Public Health at Bielefeld University since October 2010. My research focusses on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in children and adolescents. In November 2020, I completed my doctor thesis entitled "Conceptual and methodological development of quality of life measurement in children and adolescents using the EQ-5D-Y as an example". My EuroQol membership started in 2016. I have been a member of the Younger Populations Working Group since 2020 and became its deputy head in June 2025.
