Oliver is the Senior Health Economist at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit having previously held appointments at the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC), University of Oxford during the period 2002-2013. His main research interest concerns the evaluation of cost-effectiveness methodology and the conduct of applied economic studies in the perinatal and maternal health area. He has recently completed a study (currently under review) evaluating preferences of adolescents and adults to EQ-5D-Y health states using best-worst scaling and is currently a principal investigator of the valuation exercise to obtain a value set for the EQ-5D-Y in the UK funded by the EuroQol Research Foundation.
