Annual Report 2024/25 of the EuroQol Research Foundation published
We are pleased to announce that the EuroQol Research Foundation’s Annual Report for the financial year 2024/25 is now available. Please visit the EuroQol website to access the full report
This report highlights the Foundation’s activities and achievements over the past year, a period marked by key advances in implementing the Strategic Plan 2024–2028. Major achievements include progress in our experimental instruments, EQ-TIPS and EQ-HWB, as well as the development of the new EQ-5D Bolt-on Toolbox, which expands the measurement scope of the EQ-5D-5L in specific populations.
A major accomplishment was the official launch of the EQ-5D-Y-5L in September 2024, marking the culmination of a decade-long international development and validation programme made possible through the close collaboration of the Younger Populations Working Group, international study teams, the Version Management Committee, and the EuroQol Office.
In 2024/25, EuroQol granted 6,973 EQ-5D instrument requests (92% free of charge) and invested 92% of total income directly into activities achieving our Vision and Mission, including €6,078,962 awarded in research and educational grants.
EuroQol’s global scientific community is distinguished by a strong and active multidisciplinary network of 122 researchers from 29 countries, with three new members welcomed this year. Support for early career researchers and stakeholder involvement was further strengthened through grants, funded studies, and regional meetings.
We invite you to explore the report to learn more about these and other accomplishments.
Best wishes on behalf of the Communications Team
