Responsible Use, Governance and Reporting
How should we use AI responsibly in our research? This session explores transparency and reporting, risks and bias, and the spread of institutional policies on AI, followed by open discussion. Early-career researchers are especially welcome.
A discussion-oriented session on the responsible use of AI in health-related quality of life research, covering governance, reporting and ethics. Topics include the transparency, reproducibility and reporting of AI use in research (with relevant reporting guidance); risks, bias, ethical considerations and governance; and an illustrative overview of the range of institutional approaches to AI use, from more restrictive policies to more permissive but regulated ones. The session does not attempt a full review or prescribe a single position for EuroQol.
