EQ-5D/EQ-HWB: Population Perceptions of HRQoL and Surgical Decision Support Tool Development

Yifan Ding (Erasmus Medical Center) will present her research on whether the EQ-5D and EQ-HWB reflect the general population’s perceptions of health-related quality of life. Jeremy Cheng (National University of Singapore) will share what he has learned in the development of a surgeon-led decision supporttool using EQ-5D items for patients with degenerative lumbar conditions considering spine surgery (A PRECEDE study). After their brief presentations, they will answer questions from Ole Marten (Bielefeld University) and Knut Stavem (Oslo University Hospital) as well as attendees.
