More about
I have completed a Master’s degree in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2012. Subsequently, I worked for 2 years at the Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management of Bocconi University. I conducted a fully funded PhD from the University of Sheffield. The PhD was under the supervision of John E Brazier and is entitled: Identification, development and valuation of bolt-on dimensions for the EQ-5D-5L for use in health care decision-making. The bolt-on toolbox may include many of the bolt-ons earlier identified and supported in the PhD. In 2018, I worked for one year as a Postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universitat Amstrerdam in the Health technology assessment department, where I performed economic evaluations alongside RCTs, model based economic evaluations, and budget impact analyses. In 2019 I joined the EuroQol Office. I held multiple roles including being the liaise of the Descriptive Systems Working Group. I am currently the Deputy Chair for the EQ-HWB Working Group. I am an Associate Editor for Quality-of-Life Research and I frequently consult for pharmaceutical companies and consultancies, on health technology assessment, preference and outcome research. In March 2025 I joined the European Medicine Agency as Academia Matrix Program Lead (80% FTE). The Academia Matrix is an inter-Agency initiative moving forward work related to challenges and opportunities emerging from interactions with academics and academic drug developers.
