A. Simon Pickard, Ph.D., is Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy at the College of Pharmacy, University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois, USA. His research program focuses on measuring health outcomes, evaluation of medical interventions, and health policy-related issues, particularly those that affect pharmacy. Simon has been a EuroQol member since 2001. He has served the group in various capacities, including as a member of the Executive Committee, co-chairing the scientific plenary, and chairing the Disease Specific Task Force and Data Archive Working Group. He served as Deputy Chair of the Executive Committee from 2011-14 and as Chair from 2014-17.
