An Introduction and Practical Applications
Curious about how AI is actually being used in our field? This introductory session demystifies the terminology and shows concrete, practical examples, from systematic reviews to coding, with space for members to share their own experiences. No technical background required.
An accessible, “popular science” level introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications in health-related quality of life research. The session gives an overview of common AI concepts and terminology, followed by worked examples of practical use, including AI across the phases of systematic reviews and in coding and related work. Members are also invited to share short examples of how they are currently using AI in their own work, to surface real-world practice across the group.
